Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

1. Introduction

Everest Kala Kendra (“EKK”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy describes what this website actually collects today, not what it may collect in future. If we add a capability that changes any of the below, this page changes first.

2. Information We Collect

Only what you type into one of our two forms:

• Contact form: your name, email address, an optional phone number, what your enquiry is about, and your message.
• Enrollment application: the student’s name, date of birth and gender; the program and preferred start month; a parent or guardian’s name, relationship, email and phone when the student is under 18; a home address; an emergency contact; anything you choose to enter in the optional medical notes field; the name you type as a signature; which consents you gave or declined; and how you would prefer to arrange payment.

We do not collect payment information. This website has no card or bank fields anywhere, including on the application form. Tuition and the application fee are arranged with you directly after we have spoken.

We use no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The only data we hold is what you submitted.

3. How We Use Information

• To reply to your enquiry
• To review an application and contact you about a place in a class
• To reach a parent, guardian, or emergency contact about a student
• For legal compliance and safeguarding student welfare

We do not send marketing email or text messages, because we have no system for doing so. Submitting a form does not add you to a mailing list.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. It is handled by EKK staff, and stored using the hosting and database providers that run this site on our behalf. We also disclose information where required by law.

5. Protection of Minors

Nothing you submit is published on this website. Medical notes are optional. Please enter only what we need in order to keep a student safe. The photo and video release is opt-in: it is never pre-ticked, declining it is recorded just as explicitly as giving it, and you can withdraw it at any time by contacting us.

6. Your Rights

• Access: request a copy of what you have sent us
• Correction: ask us to update anything inaccurate
• Deletion: ask us to remove it, subject to legal retention rules
• Withdrawal: withdraw an optional consent at any time

There is no self-service portal for these requests. Email or call us using the details below and a person will handle it.

7. Security

The site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and submissions are stored in a managed database that is not reachable from the public internet. Access is limited to the EKK staff who need it.

In the interest of being straightforward: this website has no student or parent login yet. The “portal” screens you may have seen are a labelled preview filled with sample data, and they are not connected to any real record. We will not describe a protection on this page that we have not actually built.
